Dr. Price with approximately 40 community members and kindergarten students cutting the ribbon.

This morning, Dr. Price, along with numerous members of our community and Partners In Education, took part in the ceremonial ribbon cutting for the new district wide recycling program taking place in all of Baldwin County schools and district offices.

The program, created in partnership with Keep Milledgeville Baldwin Beautiful, Advanced Disposal and Diversified Maintenance, is the first of its kind here in the district and aims to educate our students about the importance and need for recycling to help keep our local community beautiful and clean.

With over 6,000 people on our campuses every day, the district produces a large amount of recyclable waste that before this moment was simply heading to landfills. This new program is designed to capture those recyclables and help build a better and cleaner environment for all the residents of Baldwin County.
