Susan McGill, Baldwin High School's own science department chair, knows that when it comes to science, presenting your findings is just as important as conducting the experiments themselves. That's why she took it upon herself to call upon colleagues, friends and family to help haul in over $1,000 to support BHS' Alexis Roberson with critically needed funds that would allow her to travel to Japan this week with her team from Georgia College.
Roberson's team, led by Georgia College professor Dr. Catrena Lisse, will be presenting their findings this week at the international conference as they discuss their work with sol-gel matrices.
