Baldwin Online Academy Community Interest Meetings

Writer: BCSDBCSD

The Baldwin County School District is looking to collect parent, community, and stakeholder feedback about the recently announced Baldwin Online Academy, a fully online approach to public education. Join us May 22nd, June 14th, or July 24th at 5:30 PM in the Baldwin County Board of Education auditorium to learn more.

Baldwin Online Academy is a partnership between Baldwin County Schools and Pearson, a nationally recognized provider of educational tools and resources, to offer unique learning experiences to Baldwin County students in grades 3-12. Baldwin Online Academy aims to provide more pathways to success for students needing a non-traditional school setting, to accelerate students who are ready to take extra classes, and to provide tuition-free online learning options for homeschool or homebound students.

Superintendent of Baldwin County Schools, Dr. Noris Price will be holding several community interest meetings throughout the summer to discuss the program, enrollment opportunities, and concerns or curiosities about the program.
