Writer: EricJonesEricJones

The Baldwin County School District successfully hosted its annual district-wide Fine Arts Showcase last Saturday, March 23rd, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Baldwin High School Fine Arts Center. The event, which was free and open to the public, exhibited exceptional talent across all age groups and school levels within the district.

Attendees enjoyed performances featuring students from the band, chorus, dance, and theater programs. Additionally, an art gallery showcasing works by students from Grades K-12 was displayed in the halls of Baldwin High School.

Recently, the Baldwin County School District received the distinction of being one of the Best Community for Music Education by the National Association of Music Merchants Foundation for its eighth consecutive year, maintaining its status as one of only nine districts in the state of Georgia to achieve this honor. The showcase was a perfect opportunity to find out why.
