Baldwin County School District Introduces 'Safe2SpeakUP'

What is Safe2SpeakUP?

“Safe2SpeakUP” is an online reporting tool that enables students, staff, parents, and stakeholders the ability to seamlessly and anonymously report issues of student safety, life safety, and general concerns to school administrators and district leaders. The system allows for 1-way or 2-way anonymous encrypted communications between submitters and school administrators. In addition, system users can remain anonymous or reveal their identity when submitting a report.

Students can submit reports through an easy to use app called Safe2SpeakUP or by using the web link. Social and peer pressures are some of the hardest obstacles for students to overcome. Safe2SpeakUP encourages students, parents and staff to quickly, easily, and anonymously report bullying, cyber-bullying, and other sensitive topics through private messages to school officials by building. We believe school safety is a shared responsibility, and having every student, staff and parent on board will help us to continue to keep our schools safe. We encourage you to talk to your child about the Safe2SpeakUP alert system.

How do I submit a report?

Safe2SpeakUp Mobile App

  1. You can download the Safe2SpeakUP app from Google Play or the Apple App Store.

  2. If you are a student, use your school account username (school email address) and password (student lunch number).

  3. After logging in, you will automatically have access to the reporting form.

Please do not use this system for issues requiring immediate assistance. If this is an emergency, please call 911.

The Safe2SpeakUP alert system will be monitored between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. during regular school days. Any reports submitted outside of these hours or during holidays will be responded to during the following normally scheduled school day. In an emergency, always call 911.
