Baldwin County School District Receives $7,000 Community Stability Grant from Flournoy Cares Foundation

The Baldwin County School District is honored to announce a generous $7,000 Community Stability Grant awarded to our Family Engagement Department by the Flournoy Cares Foundation, the charitable arm of Flournoy Health Services. This contribution directly supports our ongoing mission to uplift Baldwin families through meaningful partnerships, coordinated resources, and compassionate outreach.

In addition, BCSD Superintendent Dr. Kristina Brooks was given a tour of the Flournoy Health Services offices which are housed in the former Midway Hills Elementary building in Milledgeville.

Federal Programs Specialist Shonya Mapp shared her gratitude for this impactful investment, saying: "This grant is dedicated to the Baldwin County School District in recognition of its longstanding commitment to supporting students and families by fostering strong partnerships among homes, schools, and the community, as well as providing direct assistance to families facing hardship.”

She added that the grant will strengthen the district’s ability to connect families to both immediate and long-term support. Mapp also highlighted the importance of shared purpose and community investment:
