Baldwin County School District Teachers Receive Bright Ideas Grants

On December 5, 2024, Seven Baldwin County School District teachers were the recipient of the Tri-County EMC Bright Ideas grant. These grants will go towards projects that the teacher outlined in their grant application. Congratulations to the following teachers:

The Baldwin County School District would like to thank Tri-County EMC for their continued support and involvement. Their partnership with our teachers, students, and community has been invaluable and has enabled us to provide innovative ways to enrich our classrooms.


About the Tri-County EMC Bright Idea Program:

Each year, Tri-County EMC awards local teachers $30,000 in Bright Ideas Education Grants for classroom innovative projects in grades Pre-K through 12. Certified public or private school teachers in Baldwin, Jones, Putnam, Jasper, Twiggs, and Wilkinson Counties qualify to apply. Individual projects can be funded up to $1,500. Teachers are limited to one grant proposal per round of funding. Grants will be awarded annually based on merit and must be used within 18 months of the issue date.
