The Baldwin County School District will be hosting its annual district-wide Fine Arts Showcase on Saturday, March 23rd from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Baldwin High School Fine Arts Center. The event is free and open to the public.
This Fine Arts Showcase will exhibit exceptional talent across all age groups and school levels within the district. Attendees will enjoy performances featuring students from our band, chorus, dance, and theater programs. Additionally, an art gallery, showcasing works by students from Grades k-12, will be displayed in the halls of Baldwin High School.
“This event offers the most comprehensive glimpse into our substantial investment in the fine arts and its positive outcomes for our students. If want to find out why our district is nationally recognized for our fine arts programs, I encourage you to join us this Saturday,” stated Superintendent Dr. Noris Price. “The skills, talents, and creativity of our students and teachers in the fine arts are unparalleled. Such events bring the arts closer to our entire school community.”
Recently, the Baldwin County School District received the distinction of being one of the Best Community for Music Education by the National Association of Music Merchants Foundation for its eighth consecutive year, maintaining its status as one of only nine districts in the state of Georgia to achieve this honor. Come and find out why this Saturday!
