Baldwin High School Students learn the flight terms for “roll”, “pitch”, and ‘yaw” and learn how planes move and how weather plays a big part in their movement. The hands-on lesson was conducted outside using a football. In a fun way, students learned how a plane moves by stretching their arms left and right much like the game of football. Baldwin High School’s Aviation Program puts a new spin on having fun while you learn. Next semester, students will learn more about these concepts and will gain exposure to new career opportunities beyond their own comprehension.
