Baldwin High School performed it's first ever Christmas cabaret performance, titled "Christmas for a Cause." This musical collection featured beloved holiday songs, performed by BHS's talented students.
But this isn't wasn't just any ordinary holiday performance – BHS Theatre teacher Victoria Turk partnered with Chard Way food pantry to make a difference in our community. "The goal of the entire production is to give back to the community," Turk said, "So instead of charging for tickets, as we do with our typical mainstage productions, the cost of admission is only a can of non perishable food."
This partnership allowed Baldwin High School to not only spread holiday cheer through music, but also to give back to those in need in our community. The food shelter does important work to provide meals to individuals and families in need, and we're proud to support their efforts.
"Christmas for a Cause" ran two nights, Friday, December 9th and Saturday, December 10th, in the Baldwin High School auditorium. Thank you to all who came to see a great show for a great cause!
