BCSD Grieves Loss of Two Members of Our School Community

The Baldwin County School District has suffered a great loss. Our hearts are filled with sadness as we report the passing of two members of our school district family: Mrs. Virginia Wells and Mrs. Gloria Lindsey.

Mrs. Virginia Wells worked as the Media Center Clerk at Midway Hills Primary School. Mrs. Wells joined the Midway Hills Primary School family in January of 2017. Her commitment to our students and her love for her work touched us all. During her short tenure, she made a difference in the lives of our students and staff. Mrs. Lindsey retired from Midway Hills Academy in 2018 with thirty-one years of service to the students and families of the Baldwin County School District. She had a passion for teaching that was evident to all. She spent her entire career in the school district teaching general education and special education. Her thirty-one years of service has had a huge impact on multiple generations of Baldwin County students.

We will truly miss these two phenomenal women. Please join us in extending our condolences to their families and ask that you keep them in your thoughts during this difficult time.
