Baldwin County School District is excited to welcome Dr. Oliver Griffeth III as the new Assistant Principal at Baldwin High School starting the 2023-2024 School Year. Griffeth was appointed to his new position by the Baldwin County Board of Education in April. Griffeth is a proud native of Milledgeville and a Baldwin High alum, '05. He takes pride in coming back to his alma mater to serve our community.
After graduating from Baldwin High, Griffeth attended Georgia Southern University where he obtained his Bachelor's in English Education. He then earned his Master's in Secondary English and Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership from Thomas University. He recently completed his Doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of the Cumberlands.
In his spare time he enjoys lifting weights, traveling, and spending time with his wife and three children. He looks forward to beginning his 15th year in education as an assistant principal at Baldwin High School while continuing to work with students, parents, faculty, and staff.
