In-Person Students Scheduled to Return to Class Monday Jan, 11th

Dear BCSD Families,

We are excited to welcome students back on Monday, January 11th for in-person instruction. There has been a great deal of collaboration, research, and preparation that has gone into the ongoing process to ensure a safe environment for both students and employees. We will continue to practice our safety protocols and preventative measures, which have been in place since the reopening of schools in August. For more information on all safety measures our school district utilizes to prevent the transmission of COVID-19, visit our Back to School page at the following link: Back to School.

Children who are symptomatic, a close contact to a positive COVID-19 case or waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test should not report to school. Sending symptomatic children, those who have been exposed, and those awaiting test results to school will compromise the safety and health of students and staff as well as our ability to keep our schools open.

We will continue to closely monitor the Georgia Department of Public Health data regarding COVID-19 cases in Baldwin and nearby counties. Please continue to protect yourself and those around you by wearing your mask, washing your hands, staying six feet apart, and maintaining a small social bubble. These simple measures are crucial in combating the spread of the coronavirus in our schools and community.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all work together to safely navigate through this pandemic.
