Northridge Church has donated $3,000 to the Baldwin County School District to provide support with transitioning to families currently residing in hotels in our local community. The Baldwin County School District will provide a one-time donation to families that have been identified as 'in need of assistance'. The referral will come from the teacher/principal of the Baldwin County School District.
The Baldwin County School District will aid the family in finding a permanent home. Prior to securing funding, the family will be trained on job planning, budgeting and finances that will be helpful in learning and understanding how to make the best choices, and how to track their spending. Once placement has been secured, funding will be provided to cover the deposit and the first month rent.
