In honor of the upcoming Georgia Bus Driver Appreciation Week held Oct. 22-26 this year, the Baldwin County Board of Education recognized Donald Tuft, Baldwin County Schools Transportation Director, and his hard-working staff of drivers, monitors, mechanics and office staff for the amazing job they have done throughout the pandemic and beyond.

Georgia Bus Driver Appreciation Week is a time when education professionals, parents, students, and the community join forces to show their appreciation for the outstanding job that is illustrated through the hard work of Georgia's school bus drivers year-round. Each day Baldwin County school bus drivers make sure our students are taken to and from school safely. The school district and Baldwin schools will be hosting various events during Bus Driver Appreciation Week and National School Bus Safety Week to show our heartfelt appreciation of our transportation department.
