The first week of December saw the STEM lab being taken over by LVA fifth graders. Classes took turns investigating chemical and physical properties of substances. Using the scientific method, the LVA scientists gathered data to determine whether the changes they observed were physical or chemical in nature.

Baldwin County Schools uses a hand-on approach in our Science curriculum. Lakeview Academy created the LVA STEM lab last school year with a generous gift from Thiele Kaolin Company to support this vision. This school year, an equivalent Technology lab is also being created.
