Mrs. Susan Curtis and her 6th Grade SAGE science students wondered what the distance between the planets would look like if outer space was the size of the Oak Hill amphitheater. The students got out their measuring tools, some used their feet and simulated the distance between the planets! This was an awesome way to make an abstract idea relatable to our students.
